Safety Service Director

The Safety Service Director (SSD) is the Chief Administrative Officer under the authority of the mayor.  The SSD is appointed by the mayor. The SSD directs and supervises the administration of all departments, offices and agencies of the city and is responsible to the City Council for the proper administration of all affairs of the city including the annual budget.

The Safety Service Director’s leadership provides:
  • Professional leadership in the administration and execution of policies and objects approved by the City Council
  • Effective city management and organization
  • Accurate information about city services and issues to the community through a public information program
  • Developing and presenting to the City Council solutions and strategies in response to community issues
  • Planning and executing programs to meet the current and future needs of the City of Sharonville
  • Promote Sharonville's best interests in interaction with other levels of government
