Trammel Fossil Park
Subfacility of Sharonville Community Center
Trammel Fossil Park is located at the end of Tramway Drive off Hauck Drive, off Route 42 in Sharonville. This park is very unique and includes fossils originating from the Ordovician Period, dating over 440 million years ago. There is no fee to enter the park and visitors may keep what they find. Informational signs are on site to educate and aid in the understanding of the time period and identify the fossils found at the park. Picnic tables, a drinking fountain, and a hiking trail leading to a hilltop view of Cincinnati are located on Trammel Fossil Park property. Port o lets and a hand washing station are available April through November.
