Lt. Chris Thomas has been active in the fire service for 16 years. His first firefighting job was at the City of Sharonville in 2001 when he started as a part-time fire fighter. Chris progressed tested and was hired as a career fire fighter in 2003 and was promoted to the rank of Lt/Paramedic in 2008. He has worked at other local departments including Delhi Township and Springfield Township.
In addition to his fire and EMS certifications, Lt. Thomas is a certified Basic Emergency Rescue Technician (BERT) and has completed several leadership certifications, including fire officer I and II. Chris is an active member of the Hamilton County Urban Search and Recuse team (USAR) and responds to as many call-outs as possible. His main area of responsibility is designing apparatus specifications. Chris has played a significant role in the complete replacement of the Sharonville Fire Department fleet.
