Lt. Scott Holland began his fire service career in 1999 when
he was employed as a part time fire fighter with the city of Sharonville. Scott has also worked at other departments in
the Cincinnati area including West Chester Township and Mt. Healthy. Lt. Holland was hired as a career fire
fighter in Sharonville in 2002 and was promoted to the rank of
Lieutenant/Paramedic in 2012.
Scott is active in the technical rescue teams in Southern
Ohio. He is a member of the Hamilton
County Urban Search and Rescue team (USAR), the Butler County USAR and Ohio
Task Force 1. Ohio Task Force 1 is a
state technical rescue team and is deployed around the United States in support
of natural and manmade disasters such a Hurricane Katrina.

In addition
to his technical rescue expertise, Lt. Holland has also earned an Associate
degree in Fire Science from the University of Cincinnati. Lt. Holland also manages the Sharonville Fire
Department’s social media outlets, all public education activities and
coordinates pre-fire planning.
