The City of Sharonville’s Energy Aggregation Programs
NATURAL GAS AGGREGATION PROGRAM
The City’s natural gas aggregation price is fixed at $0.549 cents per ccf through your meter read date in June 2024. If you are currently a member of the aggregation, the IGS logo and the fixed rate will be shown in the Gas Billing Details section on your Duke utility bill.
If you are not already a program participant, but want to join, call IGS Energy directly at 1-877-353-0162 or The Utilities Group at 513-481-7954 and request to enter the City of Sharonville’s Gas Aggregation Program. Have a copy of your Duke utility bill handy for required information. Also, if you are already being supplied by a non-Duke Energy vendor, contact them first to be sure you will incur no penalty or cancellation fees if you leave their supply.
ELECTRIC AGGREGATION PROGRAM
The City’s current electric aggregation program with Energy Harbor will conclude in December 2023. The carbon-free fixed rate, secured through its aggregation consultant, The Utilities Group, is $0.0472/kWh. To join the program now, please contact Energy Harbor directly at 1-866-636-3749 or The Utilities Group at 513-481-7954 and request to enter the City of Sharonville’s Electric Aggregation Program. Have a copy of your Duke utility bill handy for required information.
Letters detailing the City’s next electric aggregation program will be mailed to eligible residents and small businesses in late October.
INFORMATION FOR EITHER PROGRAM
- Only Eligible residents and small businesses will receive program information. To be eligible, you must be:
· Located within Sharonville city limits.
· Not currently under an independent contract with another retail supplier.
· In good standing with Duke utility – not in arrears on payments.
· Not participating in Duke’s Percentage of Income Payment Program (PIPP).
If you join the City’s aggregation program, and want to remain in it, do not respond to any mailers, phone calls or door-to-door visits from other agencies regarding supply. Accepting another offer will terminate your participation in the program.
If a participant wishes to leave either of the City’s energy programs, please call the Supplier directly and ask to be returned to Duke utility. There is never a penalty or cancellation charge when returning from a Sharonville aggregation back to the utility.
Joining or leaving a program may take 30-60 days to affect your billing, depending on your meter read cycle.
