  • Wood chips are available to residents at no charge. To obtain a truck load, call 563-1177. These shredded tree limbs will be brought to your residence and placed in your driveway. PLEASE NOTE: These wood chips are not mulch; they are a combination of softwood, hardwood, sticker bushes, evergreens and vines, and they are not suitable for mulching around trees, shrubs, flowers or any other plant beds. The wood chips, if fresh, could take nutrients from the soil and discolor or even kill the plants. These wood chips can, however, be used for pathways or to cover non-growing areas.

  • If you need to dispose of a lot of rubbish or debris, a truck can be left in your driveway overnight. This service is offered from April through October. The truck will be brought to your home or business between 2:45 and 3:00 in the afternoon and is picked up the next business morning by 7:30 a.m. A release of liability must be signed by the property owner. The Truck Loan Program will cost the homeowner $50 a night and $60 for the weekend. The cost for businesses will be $90 for nights and weekends. Payment will be required before the truck can be delivered to the residence. Call 563-1177 beginning April 1st to schedule a truck. We will park trucks beginning the 3rd Monday in April, depending upon the weather.
