Veteran Banner Program

The City of Sharonville is excited to honor our Sharonville Veterans with our

Honoring our residents’ beloved Veterans and remembering their service through military banners displayed in our community.

This is our way to say “Thank You” to the brave men and women of our great United States military.

Our next 2-year cycle will begin in the April of 2026 with a new application window.

Eligibility Requirements:

The individual to be honored and recognized must reside or have resided in the City of Sharonville and call Sharonville their hometown.
Individuals have served in any of the five branches of military service (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and Space Force) including Reserves and National Guard and must also meet one of the following conditions:
- Be an honorably discharged veteran.
- Died in the line of Duty.

Terms & Conditions:

We cannot honor special requests for location of the banner.
Once banners are created, they will be displayed for a two-year period or until the banner starts to show deterioration.
Banners will be returned to the applicant upon the end of the two-year period.
Banners will be on display 3 weeks prior to Veterans Day through the Friday after Veterans Day and the 1^st Quarter of the year.
Applications will be made available beginning in mid-March. Applications will be accepted beginning April 13, 2026 until the deadline of July 28,2026 for consideration in the upcoming cycle. Applications will NOT be accepted prior to the date of April 13, 2026.
Due to potential demand and limited banner poles, the City may not be able to display every banner during the above-mentioned duration and will adjust the program as needed to make every attempt to display the banner.
If a previous applicant is interested in another banner, a new application will need to be submitted.
Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously had a banner.
