Help children in need by supporting "Shop with a Cop"

Help children in need by supporting "Shop with a Cop".  For the past 17 years, the Sharonville Police Department has joined together with local businesses and individuals to provide gifts for financially disadvantaged children during the holiday season.

The "Shop with a Cop" program is funded solely through donations. In years past, these donations have been provided by contributions from Sharonfest and others, such as teachers at the Princeton City School District, the Sharonville Police Association, and local businesses.

Teachers with the Princeton City School District nominate underprivileged children for participation in the program. Based on the donations received, between twenty and thirty children are chosen. The event is generally held during the first or second week of December. The children are transported to and from their homes by a member of the Sharonville Police Department.

Cash donations are greatly appreciated. Please make checks payable to the Sharonville Police Association with "Shop with a Cop" in the memo line. Checks can be mailed to Sharonville Police Department, 10900 Reading Road, Sharonville, OH 45241.

We purchase coats, hats, gloves, shoes, wrapping paper, and stocking stuffers. If you would like to donate any of these items, please contact Officer Cheryl Haynes at 513-563-1147 or email -

The children we have sponsored in the past have been provided with:

 Breakfast

 Approximately $125.00 to spend on presents for them-selves and their family

 A holiday party including games, crafts and pizza

 Wrapping paper and supplies to wrap their presents

 A stocking filled with goodies

 A winter coat, gloves, and a hat
