Duke Energy works closely with the City of Sharonville to provide electric and natural gas services to our businesses and residents.  Their service territory includes southwestern Ohio, northern Kentucky, southern Indiana, and the Carolinas.  Duke Energy partners with our Department of Economic Development to provide a low cost generation and full range of utility services to our industrial customers at rates below the national average



Greater Cincinnati Water Works


The City of Sharonville is served by the Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW).  GCWW provides about 133 million gallons of water a day through 3,000 miles of water mains to most of Hamilton County and parts of Butler and Warren Counties in Ohio, and to Boone County in Kentucky.

Their mission is to provide customers within our regional communities a plentiful supply of the highest quality water and excellent services. GCWW works hard to meet and exceed the national health standards.


Hamilton County Storm Water District


Sharonville is served by the Hamilton County Storm Water District. The district provides regional stormwater management programs that comply with the U.S. EPA’s updated stormwater regulations.  


Wastewater (Sewer)

Metropolitan Sewer District


The Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (known as MSD or MSDGC) serves the wastewater removal and treatment needs of residents and businesses of Sharonville and Hamilton County, Ohio.

MSD's employees work at facilities located throughout the county, and provide service to customers in most of the county's municipalities and townships
