SHARONVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT CLUB
In 1983 The Sharonville Fire Department Club established the Robert J. Yeager Scholarship Fund in honor of the late Fire Chief. Applicants for the scholarship must be high school seniors and residents of the City of Sharonville. The scholarship can be used for college, trade school or technical school. The scholarship is awarded based on the applicant's "Service to Mankind." To date, 19 scholarships have been presented to students.
Annual Fire Department Club Golf Outing
The annual golf outing is fast approaching. This year it is June 21st at Sharon
Woods Golf Course. The cost is $60.00 per person or 4 people for $240.00-what
a deal! Anyone wishing to sponsor a hole can do so at the discounted price of
only $100.00 per hole. Call the main firehouse at 563-0252 for more information.
All the money raised from this fundraiser will be put into the scholarship fund.
Annual Sharonville Firefighter's Festival
The Firefighters Festival will be July 21 & 22. We encourage all to come
out and enjoy the fun-residents and non-residents alike. We have fun filled
activities for children and adults, along with a vast array of exciting prizes.
Proceeds from the Firefighters Festival are used to purchase equipment to make
Sharonville a safer community. The festival starts with one of the largest and
loudest fire equipment parades in Southwest Ohio at 7:00 pm on Friday the 21st.
