In 1983 The Sharonville Fire Department Club established the Robert J. Yeager Scholarship Fund in honor of the late Fire Chief. Applicants for the scholarship must be high school seniors and residents of the City of Sharonville. The scholarship can be used for college, trade school or technical school. The scholarship is awarded based on the applicant's "Service to Mankind." To date, 19 scholarships have been presented to students.

Annual Fire Department Club Golf Outing
The annual golf outing will be held June 15, 2011 at Sharon Woods Golf Course.  Golfers or anyone wishing to sponsor a hole can sign up by calling  the main firehouse at 563-0252 for more information. All the money raised from this fundraiser will be put into the scholarship fund.
