Sharonville Christmas Fund
The Sharonville Christmas Fund, established in 1967, is a non-profit organization available to assist Sharonville residents in times of need. The Fund is administered through the Health Department and operates an emergency food pantry year round. The food pantry is always in need of nonperishable staples such as peanut butter, crackers, canned meats and cereal, as well as detergent, cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items..
During the holiday season, the Fund assists approximately 75 families, over half of whom are "adopted" by businesses and organizations from the area. Some of these sponsors have been involved with the Fund for many, many years. The sponsors not only purchase food, clothing, toys, and bikes for their "families", several sponsors have even paid for eye exams, glasses and dental care. Referrals for individuals and families in need are received from area schools and churches.
If you have any questions, know of a resident who could use our help or are able to donate to this worthy cause, please call the Sharonville Health Department at 563-1722, or email jnelson@cityofsharonville.com.
