PLANNING COMMISSION
Meets 2nd Wednesday of each month at 8:00 pm in Council Chambers
Among the specific powers and duties shall be the planning of the City and land bearing relation to the planning of the City, the location height of buildings and structures, setback building lines and the division of the City into zones or districts, the making of maps or plans for streets, playgrounds or improvements and provision for the administration thereof. Planning Commission shall consist of five members: the Mayor (Chairman), Safety/Service Director, and three residents to be appointed by the Mayor.

BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
Meets 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm in Council Chambers.
The Board of Zoning Appeals hears appeals and decides any issues involving the application of impartial considerations and judgments in regard to matters relating to the ordinances for relief from any order, requirements, decision or determination, including the refusal, granting or revocation of permits. This Board shall consist of seven resident members appointed by the Mayor.

CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION
Meets 1st Thursday of each month at 12 noon.
The powers and duties of the Commission shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Ohio Revised Code. The Commission shall consist of three resident electors, not more than two from the same political party. They are appointed by the Mayor.

ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD
Meets upon request.
The Architectural Review Board shall assist and advise the Planning Commission on the design, amenities, quality, relationships to natural features, existing buildings and all other aspects of a site development plan which relate to the appearance of an entire project. This Board shall consist of three members to be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by an affirmative vote of two-thirds of Council members.
